3/30/2023 0 Comments Ragtime castShe has a Master’s degree in Music from the University of Alabama and her performance credits in Nashville and Alabama theaters include: Welcome to the Club, La Ciesca in Ghianni Schicchi, The Music Man, The Sound of Music, I Remember Mama, Plaza Suite, and Arsenic and Old Lace. Janet also maintains a home teaching studio. Show credits there include West Side Story, Les Miserables, Pajama Game, A Buddy Arnold Tribute, Hairspray, Ragtime and Guys and Dolls. Janet is an adjunct faculty member at Lipscomb University teaching private voice, various courses, and directing vocals of Opera Workshop and main stage musicals. In recent years, she has been on the educational and production side of music and arts. Janet Holeman ( Mother) Janet is thrilled to be part of the story of Ragtime and its’ wonderful cast and production team at Circle! Because the power of this music is transformative and inspirational, playing “Mother” has been an incredibly exciting and humbling experience for Janet. He hopes to study dance and acting in the future and is grateful for the opportunity to perform in his first play under the direction of Tim Larson. Although he has performed on many stages and at venues throughout the country including Carnegie Hall, The White House and on American Idol, Donald continues to work toward enhancing his craft. Donald has performed background vocals for several recording artists’ projects including Johnny Lang’s Grammy Nominated recording of I Believe. Raised within a musically-inclined family, Donald’s early years were spent singing in church and on the road with his mother as she toured with local groups around the country. Kwami, Donald performed with the Fisk Jubilee Singers.
